Category comparison, not competitor attacks

How PDICON Compares

PDICON Intelligence differs from generic AI assistants, enterprise document search and traditional project software in one respect: it learns from structured workflow episodes that connect evidence, expert decision, correction and delivered outcome inside a customer governance boundary, instead of reasoning over documents without project context or accountability.

Comparison

Where our approach differs.

The comparison is against classes of tooling rather than named products, because capability claims about third parties cannot be verified here.

The honest comparison

General tools are genuinely good at general work.

A capable assistant summarises and drafts well. The limitation is structural: without project context, permissions, approval records and outcome feedback, it cannot be held accountable for a consequential technical decision.

Search is not judgement

Finding a document is not evaluating a submission.

Enterprise search retrieves candidates. Deciding whether a vendor submission satisfies a controlled requirement needs comparison against the specification, deviation handling and a qualified approval.

Project software records, it does not reason

Traditional tools store outcomes without the reasoning path.

Schedule and procurement systems hold what was decided. They do not retain the evidence and reasoning that produced the decision, which is exactly the material required to train specialised intelligence.

Operating principle

Accountability, not fluency, is what an industrial decision requires.

Operating matrix

Evidence moves through explicit controls.

The matrix separates source evidence, intelligence work, governing authority and the resulting artifact.

Design boundary

What the system will not pretend to be.

Credibility begins where automation stops and accountable professional judgment starts.

01

No competitor benchmarking

PDICON does not publish head-to-head performance claims against named vendors.

02

No replacement claim

Existing document, ERP and scheduling systems remain systems of record.

03

No suggestion of superiority everywhere

For general drafting and summarising, a general assistant is often the right tool.

Questions answered

Precise answers for technical evaluation.

Open a question to inspect the operating position, not a marketing promise.

01Why not just use a general AI assistant?

For drafting and summarising, a general assistant is often appropriate. It cannot be held accountable for a consequential technical decision because it lacks project context, permission-aware evidence, an approval record and outcome feedback.

02Does PDICON replace our project or ERP systems?

No. Those remain systems of record. PDICON adds the governed reasoning and learning layer connecting evidence, decision and outcome.
